Longer Shipment Product Delivery Timeframes: 

For all 'Longer Shipment Products' that have a specific Availability on the product page (ie Usually ships within n business days), your order will arrive between 5 and 16 business days depending upon your Australian location. Some of these deliveries can be from warehouses around Australia directly from suppliers (or are kept offsite and need to be brought to our warehouse first) hence the longer shipping time. We do this so we can offer you lower prices on these products. (If we were to despatch sooner, we would have to charge higher prices). If you require the product sooner than our stated delivery timeframe on these products, we are probably not able to assist you and we recommend purchasing elsewhere otherwise there is a risk of a poor customer experience.

Your emailed courier or Australia Post despatch notification will advise when it is shipped and any specific delivery dates. Otherwise, please just contact us.
 

Tracking Information:

For Australia Post deliveries, you will receive a Dispatch Notification email from Australia Post on the day it is shipped (and not before, remembering shipment date depends upon the product) with your consignment/tracking number;  

- For Australia Post, you can track your order in real time using the consignment number; http://auspost.com.au/track/ and lodge your email to receive tracking updates directly from them.

You can collect from the nearest Australia Post retail outlet if you are not present to sign for Australia Post deliveries

For courier deliveries, you may (depending upon the courier) receive a Dispatch Notification email from the courier with your consignment number and how to track. Please contact us if you need the consignment number to track.

1. Express services cost additional on request. There's more here on Express Services.

2. Public holidays and weekends in Australia are not business days and logistics/carrier services do not operate on these days even if our warehouses are operating therefore, please keep this in mind when determining if your delivery is late. 

3. Delivieres occur between business hours Monday to Friday and can be scheduled for specific days on a best-efforts basis if you advise us. We are unable to specify specific times of delivery during the day on this free standard delivery service.

4. Please note any availability timeframe starts from the time payment is cleared,not when payment is made (ie we may need to wait for bank deposits or echeque payments to clear first). 

5. Unfortunately any delays by Australia Post or other courier services are outside our control and we can’t compensate for this. 

6. Please specify 'authority to leave' during the checkout process if you wish for your order to be left in a safe place. You will be responsible for such items if you specify 'authority to leave'.

How We Deliver

Our primary warehouse is located in Sydney, Australia, supplemented with other locations around Australia. We use the Australia Post eParcel service for some orders and couriers for others depending upon weight and size of the goods.

Free Delivery in Australia conditions

- We will attempt to collate any orders submitted by and shipped to the same person taken in that day into one shipping lot

- FREE Delivery is only applied to 1 shipment, that is, if your order contains more than 1 product that have different availabilities, we may need to hold them until we can ship all in one lot.

- If you do require partial shipping ie receive a part of the order in advance, then we may need to apply additional eParcel charges.

- We generally choose the most cost effective carrier to your address (ie Australia Post or courier) depending upon the product and whether we automatically insure it for you or not. We appreciate the preference for Australia Post in remote/rural areas and will use them as first preference, however it does depend upon the product and warehouse location as some can only be shipped via courier. There maybe additional charges if you specifically request Australia Post in such instances as we'll need to do 2 shipments to get it to you (ie courier to us, and then out to you).

Our FREE delivery service is a standard service with certain timeframes we deliver to. For a faster or express delivery, importantly, we can only offer an Express Service on products that are 'Next Day Business Despatch'. Please contact us at help@rightbuy.com.au to arrange for a quote and payment. We use Australia Post Express eParcel service with the following delivery timeframes.

Any 'Longer Shipment Product' (more here) express service request  is conditional on whether the product comes direct from the supplier or comes to our warehouse first before shipping.

What happens if you are not present to accept delivery?

If you have entered specific delivery instructions in our ordering process to leave your parcel in a safe place, then Australia Post or the courier service will do this and you will not need to sign. Please note that we can't be liable if the parcel goes missing after this.

If no 'authority to leave' is specified, then Australia Post or the courier service will leave you a card for you to either collect your parcel from your nearest Australia Post retail outlet or re-arrange the delivery respectively. Australia Post will hold for 7-14 days before returning to us.  

Courier services will attempt 1 re-delivery based upon a time requested by yourself generally before returning to us. You should receive an email delivery notification advising of when they will attempt to deliver. You are able to contact the courier service to re-arrange delivery if required otherwise please try to be available for delivery as further re-delivery attempts are at the discretion of the local courier depot. They would also levy additional charges on us which would make it difficult to continue to offer this as a free delivery service.

What if the order is 'return to sender'?

If you do not pickup within 2 weeks from Australia Post, they will return it back to us. We will not automatically resend it as Australia Post will charge us another shipment fee and it is at our discretion depending upon the order value if we are able to do this. We will wait for you to contact us before taking any action, and may charge you a fee to redeliver it.

If Australia Post/Courier returns it to us on the basis of 'invalid address', we will not automatically resend it as the carrier will charge us another shipment fee and it is at our discretion depending upon the order value if we are able to do this. We will investigate whether the address was correct and contact you before taking any action, and may charge you a fee to redeliver it if the address was incorrect.

Importantly, if it is returned to us in a damaged state that cannot be easily rectified because of the 'return to sender', we may be unable to issue a refund or a replacement and the product will be sent to you as is. Refunds are reliant upon the goods to be saleable (product warranty claims or product issues under Australian statuory consumer law are excluded from this). More on our return policy here.

International Deliveries

Overseas shipments are available at the standard Australia Post International AirMail rate for each item. It is an untracked and uninsured shipping service but is cost-effective.

If you require an Express service or Insurance as well please let us know as there will be an additional payment. We can quote it once product and destination is known.

You will receive a consignment number. This is can be used to track international orders if you have requested an Express service (remembering Australia Post International Airmail is an untracked service). You may need to provide ID and a signature when receiving your parcel. 

Shipping costs are provided on checkout of your shopping cart. For International delivery timesframes, please go here to select your country and use Air Mail Post Service as a guide for timeframes.

Please note:

1. Within 48 hours of your payment being confirmed, we will request additional ID for credit card payments (NZ usually excluded on a case by case basis) before we ship to you to avoid fraudulent orders. We appreciate your understanding in advance as we receive large amounts of fraudalent international credit card orders. This will require you to provide a scanned copy of your credit card. The numbers can be blocked out barring the last 4 digits and you can block out the CVV (to protect your privacy) but please have the name showing.

Paypal payments will not require this additional validation as long as we are shipping to the shipping details on the paypal account.

2. You may need to pay any import duties, customs charges or sales tax to the relevant authorities when the item lands in your country. Please do check if the value of your order may attract your Customs Department attention and advise us if we need to follow any special shipping instructions. Also, please check if your item being ordered is allowed to be imported into your country - we are not able to check every countries import regulations.

3. We also are unable to provide insurance, free returns or replacements if the parcel gets lost or damaged in transit with international orders. Please read here for more details of our Return Policy for International Orders.

  • If the item is lost during delivery to an address in Australia, we will replace it for you at no charge to you;
  • If you find something faulty with the item, you can return it at no charge for a replacement or refund. Replacements under warranty are provided generally direct by the manufacturer.

How to Return an Item (within 90 Days)

Replacements under warranty are provided generally direct by the manufacturer especially if we don't have any more stock or spare parts. Note: This can take a number of weeks depending upon the manufacturer. Sending some photos (if applicable) will really help and often alleviate the need to return the item. We can request the manufacturer under warranty to send replacements without needing the damaged item to be returned. Email help@rightbuy.com.au with the photos. 
  • If you need to return an item, the return shipping costs are at no charge from within Australia. We use Australia Post eParcel Returns service for the majority of returns including change-of-mind. We'll use a courier when the issue is with regards to wrong item/defect/broken, but not for change of mind even if the original delivery was via courier. For outside of Australia, please click here.
  • If the item being returned means the original order only has 1 unit left (where it was part of a multiple unit purchase and both received an automatic 5% off), the full amount of the item will be charged and the 5% discount removed automatically. We appreciate customers understanding in these situations as we cannot offer the 5% discount on top of pre-paid return shipping.
  • If the product has been returned for any other reason apart from damage/not working and is not in original condition (ie not in original product packaging with all components and tags, has been washed or has marks or hairs or is obviously not new), then the refund will not be processed. It will be at our discretion if we send it back on an untracked Australia Post service as it depends upon postal charges.

The returns process:

  1. We will process your return request within a day. If we need photos of any product issues, we'll ask for those otherwise you will receive an email (if you are in Australia) from us Australia Post with the pre-paid Return Shipping label. For outside of Australia, please click here.
  2. Follow the instructions on the label
  3. Pack up the product as best as you can in the original product packaging. If the original product packaging has been accidently damaged, please tell us in advance.
  4. IMPORTANT: Then wrap the product so that it is all covered up in whatever you have laying around (garbage bags etc). This is critical to minimise theft and damage through the postage system. If the product comes back not wrapped and as a result, it is either unsaleable, damaged or stolen, we will be unable to refund you.
  5. You can either lodge at an Australia Post retail outlet or drop in a postal box. If you need the replacement quickly, then lodging at Australia Post is the quickest as you can advise us you've done it and then we can send the replacement without needing to wait for the original item to arrive in our warehouse.   6. Refunds, replacements or exchanges generally occur once the item has been examined (if it needed to be sent back) and we aim to process within 7 days from when you returned it. In busier times, this maybe longer. 

 

Returns & Refunds after 90 Days

 If you have just changed your mind, we are unable to refund or replace beyond the 90 Days. 

In the rare instance you discover a problem with a product after 90 Days from date of purchase with us, please contact us. We'll do our best to assist by assessing what can be done for you. The Consumer Guarantees under the Australian Law do apply. For more information, visit www.consumerlaw.gov.au.

Manufacturers Warranties with details must be clearly stated on the product or packaging as of January 1 2012 as required by Australian Consumer Law. If we advise that the problem relates to a product fault and is a warranty claim, we'll most likely arrange for the supplier/original manufacturer to liase with you directly so that you can get a suitable remedy.

If the problem is not covered by either a Manufacturers Warranty or Consumer Guarantees under Australian Consumer Law, we will discuss with you what remedy may be available that is fair to both parties. A refund or replacement is at our discretion after examining all factors including time the product has been used, photographic evidence of damage, purchase and return history.

    We were very pleased with these covers for our dining chairs. We ordered the dark flax colour which we thought the closest to suit our lounge and were so pleasantly surprised that they were Beige colour to us, which is exactly what we wanted in the first place. Service & delivery very good. Very easy to fit, has a fine ribbed effect. We got them to protest the fabric on our good dining chairs & are thinking of getting another colour to interchange on occasions. We did download your colour chart, originally when choosing.     These covers stretch well and are ribbed for a good quality finish. The colours are not as pictured.
    The colour Dark Flax is not yellow as pictured, it's beige.

And also to download the colour chart and print it out which is quite representative of the actual colour (the colour name is just what the manufacturer calls it - not neccessarily what describes it best).     The colour is much darker than I was expecting (supposed to be taupe but is brown). The fabric is also ribbed which I was not expecting.

    Wow! What a difference these covers have made. They fit really well and don't slip or move (our chairs are similar type to those shown) and have made a huge difference to the look of the whole room. This was an inexpensive way to revamp old chairs instead of purchasing new ones.     I purchased four of these covers as our old covers were peeling off and we couldn't really use the chairs for the mess everywhere. They are so easy to put and they fit really well to the chair type shown. We are able to use our chairs again, they look great and it was a really cheap way to make over the chairs. The info was really handy as you could measure your chairs before purchasing and gauge whether they should fit. I would definitely say they are a great product. The company help was brilliant and quick and the service was really efficient.

    Impressed how easy they fitted and the stretch fabric just stays on perfect around the bottom. No more grubby little hands, playdoh and pen marks on her chair worrying me anymore. And what i hadn't factored in was the softness to sit on (much better than the orig material). Its sort of like a suede with tiny ribbing because of the stretch fabric characteristics but looks quite good. Originally just bought one to protect a chair but now considering upgrading the whole lot and give my dining area a complete facelift. Given the bulk discount rightbuy offers, can't go wrong.

    Having just bought the SureFit lounge covers, I then purchased the matching dining chair covers. They are an excellent buy. I have had chair covers from Ikea previously as my 'white' 20year old dining chairs are revoltingly stained! These covers make them look like new chairs and go on and off very easily. Would highly recommend them, especially if you have children who make a mess!

    We bought one of these chair covers to see if it was any good. We were worried the material would be too thin. Our current chairs had fake leather and it was starting to peel and with a 3 yr old moving up and down on them all the time and changing his mind where he wanted to eat his meals every day there was mess all over the floor constantly.
    After buying one we found the material was quite sturdy and the beauty is you can remove them and wash them easily.So we bought another 7 to finish off our dining set. No more sweeping chair leather off the floor.
